WHY

Try to make at least one track day with us before it goes so you can have some fun and get it featured while you still own it...

A difficult one to value really.

Very specialist & rare car.

What else can you buy for the money (not including 'tuned' production cars)

Venturi is 180mph Mid to high 4s 0-60 Depending on roadtest.

Looking at cars with similar performance / pedigree:

Lamborghini Diablo From £39,995

Ferrari 456 GT 442bhp 187mph From £29,995

Aston DB7 335 bhp From £19,995

Lotus Esprit V8 Turbo From £14,995

So maybe £25 - £30K ? & Keith has probably spent more than that already.

Is the car recorded CAT C or CAT D? Could impact value greatly.

RHD could also be a major issue. Great for us but not for re-patriation where value would be higher. LHD Alpines and Venturis typically worth double RHD.

What do you think?

I guess it's going to be one of those 'what someone is prepared to pay' cars.

never thought I would want a list but now find myself needing one just to remind me: Clio V6 230, 5 gt turbo, 5 Gordini turbo, Megane RS 300 Trophy.

Hi all
I'm not really pushed to sell the car but thanks for the offers.. i will see what other offers come in then decide. The car is being advertised tommrrow.........ebay, loot and auto trader ....what do you think?
Yes you are right Stephen this is a difficult one to value, however this is only one unique RHD Series 2.
The car above is a Trophy and not unique. Don't quote me but over 70 of these made.
The car is Cat C listed.

By the way, only joking about ebay, loot and auto trader

I'm only going off the valuation given to me by Venturi and all details about the car were passed on.
I originally bought the car to restore not knowing anything about Venturi's and to be honest never even heard of them.
With my feet up in the air guess i just landed lucky.

You'll have to take that with a pinch of salt.

Venturi valued the transcup at £25K + when I was about to buy it for £7K.

The current owner is having trouble selling at £12K and the car will probably go for around £10K or less eventually.

The 456M GTA was £175,000 in 1999 and they are available for less than £25K now.

Normally you'd restore a CAT C to keep rather than sell on for a profit.

I'd keep the car and enjoy it. If someone offers you the right money then maybe let it go.

Please bring it to Bruntingthorpe!!

Yeah, i would be nice to offer it for sale at £86,000 but not realistic. which is why i'm prepared to sell for a LOT less. Only emailed Venturi out of curiosity.
I only bought the car to sell on anyway which may sound bad to you guys, but with a good friend running a salvage yard tempting offers always come my way and is why i bought the Venturi in the first place.
I would love to be able to say yes to Bruntingthorpe but who knows?.......
