You're in no place to shout about parts-bin stuff...

So far I've identifieds BX estate roof lights, Pug 205 steering column and stalks, Lexus front brake discs, M3 calipers (which everyone knows), and bespoke sodding speedo made by VDO who want to charge me £200 to swap the faces over.

You sure? All the V's have used 5x108 PCD's and the Lexus's are 5x114.3, and a different centre bore. Just because the physical disc dimensions are the same doesnt mean they are from that parts bin.

er... there's only one or two right hook bi turbos, and they're all very troublesome, and only a tiny fraction faster than mine, which is a lovely Z7X.

The front discs are identical in every dimension except one, as confirmd by a very helpful chap at Brake Engineering.

Now... about this bloody AC panel?

(oh and you can hardly criticise the CX mirrors seeing as everyone used them!)

The biturbo has a stonking 0-100mph though, around 10.9 seconds, verses 13.0 and 14.4 on the A610 - all helped by the extra revs most likely..

Even if the discs were the same, the stud pattern isnt. If Venturi discs are expensive or obsolete, the easiest and best option is to go for seperate bells and rotors - Better than OE spec and probably cheaper...

A/C panel. Is there a part number or OE manufacturer on the back? - best place to start. There must be some kind of nomenclature on it.

Don't forget the A300 comes in at just over 1100kg,,, it's seriously fast with either engine, and the rev limit on the both 2.8 and 3 litre turbo Venturi PRVs is 6500.

If you check out the review of the A300 vs the V8 Esprit, they rate it as being slightly slower in a sraight line, but "only by a tiny margin"

The back says "Modulo MMi 12v" and a part number.I've not found anything helpful based on that

Looks like it's a system made by a company called Diavia, who make off-she-shelf vehicle ac systems for cars that didn't necessarily have it in the first place. Suddenly it all makes sense...

..though Z7X makes peak power at 5300 whereas the 24v makes it at 6300..and the V8 does 0-100 in 10.3 seconds...Thats nearly 3 seconds difference.
