Hello! and Help!

Postby little ghost » Fri Oct 19, 2007 3:13 pm

Hello everyone, just bought an A610 a couple of weeks ago. I've never owned one before... never owned a rear engined car before... never owned anything with more than 6 cylinders before... Never owned a plastic car before... I'm absolutely loving it, but i need your help with something...

There is a small crack in the bodywork on the rear passenger wheel arch that starts from the arch itself and extends roughly 25mm up the back of the car in a little spider. I'm scared vibrations and stuff will send it all the way up the body or something! In any case what's the best way to fix it for now? Break the Superglue out? Where can i take it to be fixed? A normal bodywork shop?

Cheers,
Alex

Hi Alex ,welcome .

Any good bodyshop will fix it .They need to find the crack ends, drill at the end to stop it going any further .It needs the gel coat repairing otherwise it'll just reappear .

If you want a recommendation then an Idea of roughly where you are in the country may help!
