Club Alpine Renault (CAR)

Postby David Gentleman » Mon Apr 26, 2004 11:01 pm

Does anyone know if CAR is aware of this website? Would they put a mention of it in their monthly magazine. All credit to Stephen on the website, because if so, I cant see anyone advertising or submitting letters to the mag anymore! Its easier and better to put them on here  !

Agreed. I have got more information out of this site in the past couple of months than I have being a member of C.A.R for 8 years! And the membership for CAR has increased greatly over that time, for what seems not a lot more?

Congratulations Stephen on this great site!.

Thanks,
Brad

Over the last week I scoured the web for alpine info, and this is by far the best source.

I rang the club number a couple of times and left a message saying I wanted to join and get further info, but as yet had no reply. (is it a bit a110 bias?)

The only other decent source of info was from Roadspeed in Stroud, who are my nearest specialist. I was on the phone to them and they gave me a long list of stuff to check out on the cars and came across as genuine enthusiasts.

Lots of people have helped me today on the forum. It really is appreciated.

Certainly I'm aware of it and I think it's great!!

http://www.clubalpinerenault.org.uk

is also available for CAR members

let's hope we can work together.

The more internet access for Alpine owners the better!!

Hi Mike

Can you tell me which number you phoned?

Also, in case you still want to join, there is now a membership form at:

http://www.clubalpinerenault.org.uk

The site has just been launched and we're hoping to solve the lack of CAR presence on the web and provide a method for more interaction between members.
