Final Destination

Postby stephendell » Tue May 15, 2007 8:43 pm

For fans of the Final Destination films...

Just a bit of fun... or is it? ... You decide!

Before we start, these photos are not great quailty they were taken in low light and are blurred but they have not been re-touched in any way!

First take a look at photo 1 taken en route to WSR Nurburgring

Image

You will notice that Mark (far right) clearly has a head on his shoulders.

Now take a look at photo 2 taken a few seconds later

Image

Mark is now clearly headless. More worringly you can still see the writing 'Total' on the flags behind where his head should be.

For whatever reason on Sunday Mark decided not to do another lap of the Nurburgring.

On an impromptu stop on the return journey to England, Phildini noticed that Mark's rear tyres were worn down to the canvas and had he driven another lap round the ring may have suffered a blowout and the inevitable consequences.

However this is where it get's interesting. Because the tyre fault was noticed before the journey home Mark was then able to travel home slowly and relatively safely.

Phildini had therefore changed Death's plan and death skipped Mark arriving instead at the next person in the photo, Phildini!

Having realised this, it was of course our duty to ensure that Phildini was informed and in the interests of the preservation of his car collection he was encouraged to sign a will written on a serviette at the Surrey Quays meeting last night, stating that in the event of his 'Sudden, Untimely and Gruesome Death' his vehicles should be left to the RAOC for disposal.

Imagine then Phildini's trepidation on the journey home when he was greeted with this sinister message which had appeared mysteriously on his bonnet while he was eating...

Image

The club has of course advised Phildini to avoid all unnecessary car, train or plane journeys until he has saved Richard from Kettering (photo 1 far left) from untimely death (or vice versa) therefore restoring Death's plan to it's original path...
