The gearstick surrond is totally differant to mine and it looks as if the gearstick is angled towards the driver?.

Yes, they're like that on left hand drive. It's where the electric window switches are located on right hand drive models.

Interesting, but whats the point? what set-up is best?.
I could imagine that having the gearstick angled towards you would help you change gear faster, if thats true then why did'nt us Brits get the same set-up? ( there is an answer there but for once i won't say the obviose ) have you driven a left hand drive Alpine ?. Cheers John

I own both and hadn't noticed much difference when driving (other than you are using the other hand!)

I think the holes drilled in the steering wheel spokes are much funnier. Retro weight saving at its best

If you're gonna go retro then at least go chain link steering wheel

chain link is so passé you want a square one a'la allegro stylee
