Very nice, quite space age looking in a small way.
Kinda blows away hope I have of shifting my left over ducting (lighter weight than stainless) , well I suppose I have a spare now.
Plumbing merchants, tut, I should have known for an injecrtion car.

Turns out it's only the fuel pressure regulator :lol: .Turbo etc fine but regulator on back-order Renault says :shock: :o

Clee - I'd avoid driving the car if you can.

When the regulator goes pop in a big way it gives full pressure to the injectors all at once, in my case a few years back just after starting the car. Imagine the look on my face when the engine stopped - it was hydraulically locked, the bores and sump pretty much full of fuel and petrol dripping from everywhere. A trailer job up to Paul Sage basically, where a new regulator was fitted, oil replaced and spark plugs and wotnot dried out and cleaned - that cost a few quid.

Funnily enough I think the regulator was actually perforated because the petrol had water in it (water was in the fuel filters) causing the tin diaphragm to rot. All caused by flooding at the petrol station getting into the underground tanks!

Buy an adjustable regulator....then you'll be set for when you start modifying! :D

Waiting for price and delivery from Renault for standard unit , will see if budget will stretch to a DG special 8) Plasterer starting Thursday , so
I might leave one wall bare brick, very stylish, tell her :wink: :wink:

My motor has recently been suffering from a bit of a misfire but only on boost. It also has been a bit ropey to start - sounds like its missing a few cylinders for the first few seconds - perhaps overfueling. Is there any way to test the fuel regulator to see if it is knackered?
