ATE power disc part no.

Greetings

I see that www.simon-auto.de have ATE power discs availiable for GTAs.
Eurocarparts also stock ATE power discs but do not list them for GTAs. If anyone can tell me the ATE part number for the power disc that is suitable for the GTA, then I can order the discs from Eurocarparts & save the postage & packing from Germany.

You need to ask for discs for a Renault 25 or Espace 4 stud fitment. The reason they don't list Powerdiscs for a GTA is because GTA discs should be 2mm thicker at 22mm but in practice almost everyone fits 20mm discs.

I've got powerdiscs front & rear on my GTA at the moment. I don't think Euro Car Parts have got any stock at present but they're much cheaper than Simon when they do.

Thanks for the reply, I will ring Eurocarparts shortly, If you can dig out the eurocarparts receipt for you discs and post the part number on this thread that would be great. Having read some of the excellent stuff in the technical section of this site, it would appear 20mm is listed as the appropriate disc thickness anyway. See technical section & speciifcations.

Yes 20mm was the correct thickness when the cars were launched. Hence the info in the tech specs. from the initial press release I posted. However due to cracking especially on hard used Turbos, they were quickly uprated to 22mm. Some of the later specs confirm this.

Sorry to be a bore but the part no. 24.0320.0126.1 didn't register with Eurocarparts (Swindon) as a valid ATE part number when I rang them. I also tried asking for Renault 25 or Espace 4 stud but without a year and model details again no luck.

Via the web site a 1989 Espace PH2 (guessed the rest the options) lists power discs with a euro part no. of 926740030 at only £29.50 less than half the price of the std discs listed for a GTA, this seems too good to be true?. Not confident enough these are the correct ones to order given the hassle it would be to return them.

I have my invoice and the ATE part booklet in front of me. The number is definately 24.0320-0126.1

There is an alternative number KBA 60763

The original part number cross reference is 7701204283

List price £33.23+ VAT each. You should be able to get them for a little less if you shop around.

Many thanks for bearing with me. The renault reference number seemed to do the trick. I am now the owner of some new power discs on the front of my GTA v6 Atmo. Had a slight mix up with the pads and the ones eurocarparts have listed for the D500 were too big, strangly the ones listed for the D503 were correct.
