Inaccurate fuel computer

Postby Mr Jon » Sun Nov 07, 2004 11:19 am

Can anyone give me some advice regarding my fuel computer? Yesterday it started flashing continuosly, I disconnected the battery, filled the tank right up then reset the damn thing in an attempt to clear its brain.

It's not flashing anymore but informs me I am achieving 99mpg and have in excess of 9800 miles before the next fuel up! Could this be the first supercar that can do 100mpg...?!

I suspect it's completely knackered and need a new one?

Try disconnecting the battery again, press the red memory zero button for 10 seconds, reconnect the battery, then press the red zero button.

Does this mean that it really is doing 99mpg?
That must be a shock from the 9.9mpg before the carb rebuild....
