Red GTA in Cranbrook G400 (XBX?)

Postby darrenbiggs » Wed Dec 06, 2006 6:47 pm

Spotted at 5:10 on Weds 6th in Cranbrook.

I was just coming out of the carpark by the church and got let out by another red GTA. Massive surprise as it was pitch black and the windscreen was misting up and suddenly there it was, another GTA.

For a quiet village typically there was suddenly lots of traffic and no where to stop and say hello without causing a scene. Sorry.

So who was it??
I'm just here for the gasoline.

Saw this car around 6pm sunday travelling down the M11 towards Harlow, but unfortunatly i was in my Fiat Punto 1.7 diesel turbo van as i had just finished anouther hard day decorating ( poor me :( ), but i didnt even have to thrash it to stay with him as he was content to amble along at 70mph in the slow lane?.
never really ever thought that i would own a gta, but am i happy that i do!!.

Red G400 XBX GTA

Postby Elliott Levy » Fri Jan 05, 2007 1:04 am

Dunno who was driving it but I can tell you that I was the original owner. I bought it in August 1989. It remains my favourite car !
I owned her for about seven years. But I had alot of engine problems. Renault in Enfield once had her for several MONTHS!!! I remember seeing her engine in bits in the service bay. I finally had had enough and sold the car to the garage. I can't believe that she is still around.!!!!!
(Wonder if she's up for sale hehehe!!!! Oops insanity taking hold again.)

Elliott.
