Why would you dismantle a Clio V6 that just needed a front wing :?

Presumably because the damage is more extensive than it looks and its worth more in bits than as a whole....or perhaps the insurance company have inserted a clause to ensure it never went back on the road!
It does seem a bit odd though!

possibly as that ph1 front wing is nolonger available...... so to repair it properly you would need a complete Ph2 front...... :shock: repair budget blown :!: and you can't give a ph1 v6 awayon the best of days :roll:

No....you could have a wing made easily and even the 225s are worth over £10k still. Must be more than it looks. Even if it was just the wing it would have been worth selling as a whole car if thats all it was.

not pranged buddy...... dunno where you get your salvage price list from....... :shock:........ engine and gearbox worth a grand tops.....

i can get you a brand new Ph1 clio v6 engine for a grand.... no one want's them....

Not salvage price! I was talking about price for a roadworthy car....if its just a wing then one could be made or the old one re-shaped (you can get fibreglass ones if oure desperate) and then you have a car thats worth a bit of money.
