What do I need to FI my engine?

Postby 91tbrick » Wed Dec 06, 2006 10:15 pm

Finally got the go ahead to put my engine in the car, which will be this summer since it is currently 30* F out and dropping for the next couple months and this is the DD. Current set up is a b28 with 500cfm holley carb. I can put it in this way but for long term drivability and future mods I need a FI system.

I looked at megasquirt but supposedly it won't work with an odd-fire block. Is there a lower priced system that will work with an odd-fire and what parts will I be needing. I have an intake off a dodge with fuel rail and fpr.

What size injectors are good to start I have 19lb and 30lb which I can use.

Appreciate any answers on this, as I said in an earlier post the goal will be a future 400+hp but that will be a build to.

Wow, who says we speak the same language!

I reckon Mr Gentleman will be able to help you out... to a point anyways.

Definately does a management system to run the odd fire unit.
