Engine re-build...the joy!

Unfortunately one of the engine mounts is fooked...£38+VAT....ouch

Make sure you order the A610 version. Better (stiffer) and cheaper.

Same goes for the gearbox mount.

I'm only ordering one...which Ive done! If I ordered the A610 one it would make the inbalance even worse :lol:

just ordered a pair in for Rob's. Strangely only the left one had failed. I'd have through the right one would fail first (does on DeLoreans)

For the record the mount is the same but ours are a two bolt plate not one. Ours are R30

? The part # for the 610 mounts ? can only find the GTA code listed in the parts book .

Not today Josephine! Its all back together and filled with oil, but the starter motor just clicks! Its never been great with anything other than a fully charged battery......so I plugged my charger in only to find it is dead! It wasnt meant to be I guess!!!

No the earths are fine.....I have actually been at the GTA business for a while :roll:

and have several extra earths (battery direct to engine and battery direct to rear subframe) and have never had an earth problem.....stuck record!! :lol:

Its either the battery or the starter motor......I will find out in just over a weeks time when I next have a chance to do something with it.

It now turns over and it has spark but no fuel!!!! The pump primes...but it seems a little weak. Undoing the fuel lines after turning it over reveals hadrly any petrol, as though the pump is only priming and not pumping. The injectors are firing precisely no fuel. No time to look into it properly today as I have work in 1/2 an hour....but any ideas would be appreciated. The ECU is working (lights on) and there is power to the injector relay and fuel pump relay.

You can check the front pump is feeding the rear...

Definitely got some fuel in? The petrol fairies had knicked all mine while I had the engine out - spent ages checking all the electrics because I surmised that I must have reconnected something wrongly. The fuel gauge was in on the joke as well and was happily reporting that it had plenty.
