Nearly...

..and just for reference, all these GTA's you see going up in flames - its not from fuel leaks, its just the gas mark was up too high....

Well, I'm certainly learnin' - Mr G is great at the theory ain't he? :-D

Oh, and Renault tried everything short of givnig the car an open engine bay and louvered decklid *smug mode*

And when you say "broken two Skylines" what exactly do you mean.....? :-)

(BTW bought mine knowingly with a fecked turbo, replaced for £75 secondhand, bit flukey though. What wasn't so clever was the split core plug behind the flywheel. Oh well, it needed a clutch too.....)

The headgaskets that have come off have no notches and measure 1.60 thick .So maybe the Volvo ones are thicker and will suit . Some of the other bits in this kit should be of use also ,rocker covers, cam ends ,exhaust ?

Just taken out my plugs and noticed tiny little specks of rust round the edges of a couple - two that are next to each other - am I going to need a Head Gasket kit soon? or could there be some other highly plausible explanation?

It does lose coolant over the course of a couple of long runs but not a huge amount - expansion bottle smells a bit exhaust fumey. Any test that I can do to confirm head gasket knackeredness or should I just get on Ebay, get the bits and get on with the job before it fails in some spectacular way?

Yep I'll defo pay good money for unused 91mm head gaskets :)

(funnily enough there's a guy on one of the DeLorean forums called Stainless Fetishist....)

Nowhere near as funny as the guy on Pistonheads called "Touching Cloth". I think he drives a TVR

No not yet ,I'll take a chance and get one .The gaskets off the Baccara lump were 1.70 thick also but had two nicks out the side :? :? TBH as Stunned said , the amount of carbon I scraped off the pistons and heads would have been well over the 0.30 difference .
If not I've priced it all up from Simon Autos ................

Seals .............
