Hi Lee,
What size tyre do you recommend as an engine stand?

Thanks for your enquiry Lee .
There are many sizes available from stock .
The one pictured is a Pikey Pro series 195 .You can alter the work height by simply adding another in the PP range on top .An added bonus in this is you can fill it with compost and grow some luvly tatties .

Spent the day stripping the bottom end and I do need a crank
Simon the jagman had a look to confirm ,number 2 has spun a shell and the crank has picked up  All the rest are fine ,the slight scoring on 6 was just usual wear, you ought to see the state of # 2 shells

Snot a very clear image ,must get a decent close up digi ,but you can see how much thicker it is in the middle .It has been squashed out to about 20mm wide from 16 ish .Dark bit in the middle is where it has picked up on the crank and gone through the hardening
It's about 1.6mm thick at the ends and 1.2 in the middle

Has your camera got a 'tulip' symbol on one of the buttons?

If yes, then press it and you'll get a decent close up pic.
