Wanted - Renault 2 DIN conversion plate/fascia

Hi - anyone put in the 'Renault' 2x single DIN conversion ? and clock ?

Before I ask renault...Does anyone have one available, or if anyone knows if you can still get these. (are the clocks common to other renaults?)

(reason for this is I have a spare single DIN unit and am finally thinking of coming out of the 80s and ditching the cassette unit)

Yes you can still get these but expect to pay aprox £50 from Renault

Nice piece of kit. I've got one in my white car. I also have a spare analogue clock to fit in the gap!

talking of nice pieces of kit..maybe I am looking at this the wrong way..perhaps I should be looking at filling that big double din hole with something as impressive as what's coming out..

trouble is - that screen would need to open up..could be bit tight with the old gear stick where it is

The tuner on double DIN Hong Kong units won't work in the UK.

I have a UK single DIN screen and it just misses the gear knob by a few mm when it opens.
