Yep, I had them coming up, so I cleared the 'temp iternet pages' and it hasn't happened since.

My avatar disappeared from this forum - it used to point to my own web site that I stopped publishing a couple of weeks ago but strangely didn't disappear until yesterday.

Seemed like a clever idea to point it at my avatar stored on the Exxy (X1/9) site - and I wasn't getting the password prompt last night. Must have had it cached somewhere......

I guess there's no way of having an avatar unless it's published on another site ?

Yes, your avatar needs to be hosted on another site as far as I know.

Out of interest what web browsers are we all using. I've not had a pop up but I'm using Firefox with built in pop-up blocking.

Opera version 9 for me.
