I thought they might be quite good, when I was at school, during the early turbo era, we designed a bracket to hold a hair dryer over the carb of a triumph vitesse. We even chose a model that acted as a blower and did not heat the air, because we knew that cold air was better. The problem was it only worked in the workshop where we had 240V.

Unbeleivable..... yes I know, but it is true !!!

Anyway, too cold to go out tonight.

The Citroen BX group B rally car had some kind of electical turbo system and was, at the time, regarded as a bit of a joke, like the car itself.

her indoors is out..... i'm just off to rob her hairdryer now..... i've got one of those 12v to 240 v inverters for the car bingo! i'll let you know how i get on :lol: :lol: :lol:
