Basically, new workshop + sprayer + spray booth + lots of old GTA wheels sitting around taking up space = cheap refurbed wheels.

Sounds like every one will be sending you their wheels over the winter then.

Tub of industrial strength paint stripper ,wire wool ,big thick gloves ,tube of chemical metal ,wet-n-dry ,tin o paint ,tin o lacquer ,elbow grease .All 4 wheels done for £35 Your not going to get best in show but they will look as good as new .
Always best to get them powder coated if you're after long lasting bling .

Oh well, I guess you will be having a busy winter if every one is sending their wheels to you then.

I knew there had to be a catch..... you're painting them......not powder coating which is the proper way..... sorry buddy I has a set painted and laquered and would never go down that route again they don't last 5 minutes..... whereas powder coat is hard wearing and it don't flake off like paint....... each to there own i hope you have many satisfied customers.... but i swear by powder coat only, painting is a false economy in the long run.

Depends on how often you damage them!!! I never go a year without scuffing all 4.....riding curbs at circuits is hard work ....painting them is nice and cheap!

I think David's saying its £50 for a std GTA wheel thats has been painted Andy ,so that's not to bad a deal methinks .It's a "wee wee" awful job to prep the wheels if you do DIY ,I only did it for love .

nope..... I ran a painted wheel on one side of the car and a powder coated one on the otherside.... front that is...... painted wheel is all flakey and shity..... the powder coat one is still perfect ..... paint is ok if you want the hassle to redo them every year.....

i've got to wash em off tomorrow..... i'll photo them if you want ..... but i don't think we need to go that far....
