Mines got no stickers on the back.

I dont like them, I think they look tacky.
( No pun intended ) :-)

Just an Alpine badge on the front and the small silver and yellow thing on the rear grille

David from Suffolk who came and visited me went and had a look at this car. I remember him mentioning the guy owned a Subaru SVX which is in the background of the picture. He said it went for auction in Norwich this weekend and the guide price was half the original asking price. He said it was a typical example in need of alot of work mechanically.

some strange pipework on the oil vapour breather which if it doesn't include the correct restrictor will cause engine to run nasty

The guy must be an eccentric......a GTA and an SVX!!!!! I have a review of the two cars in a book as a used car buyers guide, bit of a strange comparison I thought. SVXs arent particularly expensive at the minute. One went on ebay the other week for only a couple of thousand.

SVX's

Postby Tony Smith » Wed Sep 29, 2004 3:45 pm

I nearly bought an SVX a few years ago, different animal completely to a GTA, much softer and more comfortable and they only come as autos too. The reason I decided against one after doing some research on the cars was the auto-box - apparently hideously unreliable and very expensive to fix.
