"You obviously drive like a girl Simon!!! I've never bettered 25mpg"
peter, try resetting the trip computer while on the overrun at 90mph, you'll see 99.9MPG.

Anyway, as if by magic, got in the car this weekend and my remaining 2.1 gallons had suddenly become 6.1, nice surprise. I wonder why that happened

Hi R5 Raider,
Have you seen the LHD atmo on ebay? Only £1500 at the moment for a low mileage car, but I don't suppose you want a LHD, I know I wouldn't.
Can I just say that I am very pleased with my atmo that I've had for about 2 years now and done over 20,000 relatively trouble free miles (I've probably jinxed it now). And recently I've been having to use it every day as my other vehicle (a motorbike) is off the road. I have to do a 200 mile round trip (mostly motorway) every weekend, and if I keep to around 70 mph I get over 35 mpg! (but admittedly you have to drive like a girl to achieve that).

sounds like you need to get a message to the current owner, just in case he is looking to sell it shortly

Shadi's pearl white turbo has been for sale for a while now and the price may be slightly negotiable.

What reliability!!!?? They arent that bad, just when things do go wrong on the turbo they are nearly always harder and more expensive to sort than atmo.
