Windscreen Wipers

Postby BIG_MVS » Fri Jan 06, 2006 7:29 pm

Happy new year everyone!

Dusted the cobwebs off the GTA finally today after not using it for over 2 months, started first time and the battery was not flat

Then more issues....

Started the wipers and they worked but did not stop  , is it a relay or something?Even when I switch the car off and restart the ignition they are still going!

P.S Stephen may I suggest a Problem/Solution section on the forum as I think it would be well used

Dont think we have enough bandwidth..

Like Justin said, it could be a stuck relay, or a stalk problem...

I also had this problem when a R25's battery decided to reverse polarity through overcharging and make every electric item come alive (including the voice synthesizer - trust me..it sounded like it was dying in agony   ), shortly before the dash caught fire...

wipers

Postby foggylad69 » Tue Jun 13, 2006 5:38 pm

Having rebuilt my wipers and actually seeing how they work..not that great a sweep ! Got me thinking about going to just the drivers side arm and altering the mechanism for a single full sweep of the screen .
has anybody done this mod.? thought it would look pretty trick too. :)

Sign me up for the mod if you can get it to work. Will go nicely with all my other bling!

AGM can't be that soon as you are normally given 30 days notice of such things.

My House..... 29th July

Technically that's possible as you only need 3 commitee members present as long as the others are all invited!

Postal vote anyone
