Renault Alpine Register

Postby stephendell » Thu Jun 01, 2006 10:38 pm

It has been suggested to start a thread where users can volunteer chassis and fabrication numbers to form an Renault Alpine Register.

Andrew Jones has advised that the minimum useful info would be:

Model:
Chassis Number: VF...
Fabrication Number (Oval Plate): K...
Date of 1st Registration:
Colour (with code if known):

Please feel free to add any additional information.

I think the chances are pretty slim of finding another as a donor!

I think the register is a good idea - however it shuld be by way of a searchable database under one of the headings - so prospective buyers could check by reg no fab /chassis no etc

surely some alpine owners are database boffins who could arrange such a simple system after which it can be added to the site?

And they've done ot for 200+ RS200s, there are only 60 odd RHD A610s .. easy.

out of interest, how many GTAs were official sodl RDH/UK and how many left ??

PS: Willing and able to do a "proper" register for the members only site. Just drop me a pm

Right hand drive GTA's and 610's

Postby turbodog » Fri Jun 02, 2006 6:48 pm

The official figures given by Renault are 212 atmos. 341 turbos. 3 turbos fitted with catalysts, 25 GTA Le Mans and 67 A610's. As to how many are left, what with cars being written off, broken for spares, exported etc., the numbers left are going to be very few.

alpiniste; any further progress on the development of the register- it would be most useful - do you need mr dell's official sanction?
