As you say "Or maybe I'm oversimplifying" yep thats what you did. Need somone who will.

Enlarge ventura's if required.
specify jetting.
And extract mega horsepower all for the price of a pint.

Or maybe when I've finished the engine I shoul'nt bother with rolling road etc and let it cook it's pistons, or wear out its bores due to petrol wash!!

That was Andy, not me! :lol:

As before, most 'older school' RR and diagnostic tuners would have worked on all manner of carb setups through the years so re-jetting and changing venturis won't be a problem.

My RR operator managed to squeeze 174bhp out of my standard atmo engine bar increased fuel pressure through a new adjustable regulator and Facet racing pump and playing with the ignition advance.

As the car has an electric fuel pump, fitting an adjustable reg makes life much easier for tuning than constantly experimenting with new jetting setups.
