its leaking from the rear end of the car,im starting to think that the garage could be responsible for it leaking(its always easier to point the finger) because they put a second hand caliper on but then put the old one back on as this one was easier to fix so im wondering if they have cocked something up but i will probably never no

drivers side around the drive shaft area havent had a good inspection but its around that area

Outside of the srive shaft or inside??? The clutch slave cylinder and bleed vlve are both in the centre....I assume you mean at the calliper end of business...which will be an easy fix. Next time you need callipers...you can get exchange ones for around £100...I replaced both rears last year this way...rear callipers seem to fail way more often than the fronts.

The handbrake mech always seems to lock up :roll:

I just had a very sticky calliper on the drivers side.......probably robbed me of about 200bhp at my RR session!! :lol:

Just got back from the garage who did the rear caliper :( Guess what :?: :?:
I asked them if they had topped up the reservoir when they did the work on the brakes NO :!: :!: i asked em if it lost much fluid Yes :!: :!: :roll:

:?: Whats the clutch like to bleed, Suppose i could take it back to them to do :evil: or if its easy do it myself

:shock: Cant believe they didnt try to make a excuse :shock:

Re; the leaking fluid, i think its coming from the driveshaft seal (G box) Ill try and have a good look under the car at the weekend

1. get them to do it, its a pain of a job and they owe you..

2. d/s seal....check you have the roll pins in the gb end of the driveshaft. If these are missing then thats the cause of the leak...

Its easy!!!! There is a bleed nipple on a length of pipe coming down from the slave cylinder to the bottom of the gearbox, but you really need the car in the air and someone to pump the clutch or a pressure bleeding kit....so I guess for one person its quite hard! They mucked it up too...and they probably charged you loads of money and have several staff including the garage divvy on apprentice wages to pump the peddle...so make them do it!! :D

Ill let them do it, if they can manage to get it right this time :evil: Suppose its better then having to replace the slave cylinder :)

thought i would have a go at bleeding the clutch system myself(have access to a pit) this is what i have done so far and its not working :evil:

undone the bleed nipple and attached a piece of clear tube to it filled an empty bottle up about 2" with brake fluid and my dad started pumping the clutch it started coming out but then nothing and sometimes the fluid goes back up the tube :x am i doing something wrong her because at this rate it seems as if i will still be doing it next week :evil: :evil:

Its exactly the same as bleeding a brake calliper. Undo the nipple pump, tighten, release peddle, open nipple, pump etc etc.
Obvious one I know....but your reservoir is sufficiently full??
The fluid will go back up if you dont shut the nipple, as it will get sucked back by the release of the peddle.

When you get bored with doing it that way ,get it pressure bled ,easi bleed or take it to a garage £20 well spent :lol: Or get one of these non-return valves off Ebay .
