I can highly recomend a Lexus V8, all 32 valves of it, silky smooth, oooooodles of power, grrrrrrreat grunt , reliable, (only had to change the windscreen wipers after 12k miles of hard driving) completely understressed and a lightweight alloy block. Good for 28mpg too !

I though Mr Dell (viva el presidente!) is fitting one of these superchargers to his new engine... Or has he changed his mind :?

Yup, that's the right one but the vendor doesn't state whether it's a C30-84 (200-320bhp) or C30-94 (250-400bhp) so have sent him a message. The 84 is a bit small and anything less would be next to useless for a GTA.

The problem with putting a centrifugal blower like that on the V6 turbo is it will only run around 8-10psi max and wont come on boost early like a turbo (eg, 14psi at 3000rpm). The boost on the rotrex rises exponentially with revs, so you will get say 8psi at 6000, 4 psi at 3000...

That's right, putting this blower on a GTA turbo would be pointless. The compression is too low and you probably end up with less power than standard. Ideally it should go on a higher compression normally aspirated engine (like the one it's coming off !) and run about 0.7 bar
