Do you know that there are strong rumours about Renault reviving Alpine?

So it's a concept car i did get from a friend to technocentre, and design team is quite busy actually!

Ghosn is willing to get back a strong sport and luxury brand to rnault models!

you ll find nowhere this pic, but lots will comes soon, publicly from
Renault!

Oh and sorry for this, but the picture has been posted in another area of the forum, but not the reply from the guy who posted it in aussiefrogs, so it at least adds to the already seen picture...

The comment in AussieFrodgs abotu "revival" probably refers back to the old one from last year abotu useing the Nissan engine etc etc.

The 210RS is a totally different beast implying rear engine/RWD. Possibly based on all the negative comments the "based on 350Z" version received Renautl decided they better amke an Alpine BE lie an Alpine :D

BUT this is all conjecture as so far NOBODY seems to be able to find a reliable source for the image.

IT needs a NEW input about this image and the "revival"

well here's another link that was posted on a french site, I think it is fun to see the differences in designs, the fact that people are starting to talk about the cars, and the expectation of what may come out......

I think that this is a great move, renault needs a "nissan 350" hero car in it's line up, maybe not the same car, but something the upper class euro rich can enjoy and be seen in ;-), and race in on the weekends

Alpine cup racing????

Overlayed images, slightly off to show morph .Most obvious bit , Have a look at the shadows underneath on the originals ,they are identical .

It probably not a 'photoshop' but a redesign using the Clio as a base as that Clio pic probably isnt a photo, but a rendered wireframe image, much like those on http://www.suurland.com/

Thats why the light sources, shadows would look the same.. :D

Andy, thats was the prototype for the Venturi Fetish, and how it was going to initially look, (back in 2002), but the Fetish now looks like it does today, and no longer Spider based. The prototype is now called the Grand Prix. Thats why there is no info, as it was like a testbed, much like the A310 was like for Delorean...

Notice the Renault/Peugeot 60 degree V6 that I mentioned a while back.. :D

Andy, pretty awsome website, great designs.

The Venturi was at Goodwood FoS last summer.
It's all electric now and still conceptual.
Looks could kill......
