He needs it to pull a trailer with another car on it, so he's got at least 2. :wink:

Oke, now we know he has a Clio and a 4x4 (off the road) :lol:

then he really needs the Trafic.
A 4x4 on a trailer is way to heavy for the Clio

From what I have heard at work today my plans may be out the window any how but,
I can live with a van only as it does have some advantages,
You can sleep in the back and not worry about leaking or blown away tents. Plus personal belongings are safe when competing.
No need to hire a van when you move: - house, large objects, toolbox etc.
Cheaper to insure, I have had quotes of around £200 and I can insure a van, trailer and the 21 (non traffic act insurance) for the same price that I insure the 21 at present only, and that instantly saves me £300 for the Clio.
I can earn a little extra buy moving things for work colleagues and family :wink:

CON's
RFL is higher priced
No excuses when at a garden centre or DIY store for not taking home those bulky items.
There may be others but I’ll will find them if I get one??
Also passengers are not a problem, It's only me

What about a decent people carrier?

a good enough engine for the pulling power and you can take all the seats out to use it like a van on race weekend and it's big enough to sleep in!

i use a VW touran 2.0 140 Bhp tdi and a Brian James TTTB 35 for transporting my race spider round and it will easy do well over the uk speed limit..... where permitted of course loaded with all the spares kit in the back and of the car and 2 spare sets of wheels and tyres on the trailer too.

then once i've finished with it, i put the seats back in it and the missus uses it as an everyday run around :lol:

usefull tool :!:

Great reviews for internal space, cheap 2nd hand and looks like something that will never get stolen (that is why they are cheap I think). lots of seats too.

My sister has one....very ugly but practical and quite well equipped. Not sure it would tow all that weight very well....the diesel is only 105bhp and 1600cc.
