Change of vehicle??

I've been getting very board over the holiday, which is dangerous for me as it, means spending loads of money with very little return.
My latest hair brain Idea it to sell the Clio and buy a Renault Trafic and then a trailer, so I can transport my other car around, instead of driving it on the road with all the expenses associated with it!!
So my question is
DO I or DON'T I ??????

NO! buy a sensiblish family car and trailer not a van. Something like a Safrane, C5 or Omega should do it.

Don,t buy a Trafic Eat electrics ,underpowered and have the turning circle of the QE2 .

I hate it when I get board over the holidays -

It has to be a Renault (I am Renault born, Renault bread) and I can only afford to run one vehicle on the road hence the van and trailer idea, which means van or car??
The reason I say Trafic is that I borrowed the works van in September and with car and trailer I only used a third of a tank of diesel to do a 350 mile round trip and that’s includes going faster than I should with a van and trailer
If I cannot make my mind up, a year not competing is a possibility, which I don’t want to do really
Clee have you driven a new gen Trafic?? and as for family vehicle, I am the only one who drives so if it can only take two passengers it does not bother me

I convert Renault Traffic's into all sorts of passenger vehicles ie taxi's and such
You need to go for the 100hp 6 speed version if you want any sort of power, I find them quite good to drive if you have to drive a van
The Nissan version Primastar is most popular in Ireland as it is identical yet cheaper to buy (but no ABS as standard)
Trade price over here for a LWB with mettallic and twin sliding doors is approx €16,000 plus your local taxes, it may be worth your while shopping over here as I have saved another friend of mine approx 2,500 euro on a Mercedes Vito landed in UK

If you want to drive with a trailer behind your car, I would say take a Trafic van, with a trailer it is better.
In the Netherlands there are very much versions of the Trafic.
Different lenght ans height.
Most people in the Netherlands buy the L2H1 double cabin version.

You have a van and also 5 or 6 seats (3 in the front and 3 on the second row or 2 in the front and 3 on the second row).
The 1,9 Dti (not the 80 but the 100hp) is enough for the van with a trailer, but a 2,5 Dti (140hp) is off corse better.
I have rented very much vans off a lot of brands, but the Trafic suited me the best, but I am also a "little" Renault minded.

Is there a UK language version of that R Traffic site in the Netherland

In the Netherlands you can order them at the Renault dealersship, but I know they are build by Gruau and Terberg.
