 It gets worse  Both cam cover gaskets are diferent part No's and there is only one available from Renault

following part No's correct.
6001040293 is correct and available
7401269810 is a old part No but as not been superseded, so nothing available

 at somtime, i know what you mean that it is possible for Renault to have got them wrong, but the guy at Renault york was on the telephone to HQ for ages with the same answer, two seperate part No's which must be correct as both of the cam covers are different

 but the two 60 01 040 294 gaskets dont fit either of my cam covers, ive ordered the one 60 01 040 293 gasket from them in the hope its right
