Harewood Hillclimb 50th Anniversay Celebration Weekend 22/23rd September. We are invited as a joint class of Alpines with CAR Championship contenders. RAOC members will be timed but obviously not in the Championship group. You do not have to members of BARC because we are an invited club but the usual Nat 'B' licence, clothing & helmet are required. Our class will be run on the Saturday for those who have to get back.
There will be some historically great and interesting cars present including the Ferguson P99 as an example which not only won F1 races in the hands of Stirling Moss among others but won the 1964 Nat Hillclimb Championship driven by Peter Westbury who will also be at the event.
It should be a very interesting meeting and for those who have never been it is a superb venue and course. Let us know asap if you would like to compete but you will be equally welcome as a spectator @ only £10.
