New to me GTA Turbo

Postby Trevor Skedge » Thu Apr 26, 2012 8:10 am

A few pics of my GTA Turbo. If anyone sees anything in the engine bay let me know as it will help trace any faults.

Also, is that a cassette holder on the side of the centre console? Sweet!! I don't have one cos that's where my ignoramus car phone is mounted! (u can see it in one of the photos of my car in the visitor's cars section). I have 2 say,I do love my car phone, even though it doesn't have the analogue signal for it to work properly. It's the coolest thing since the other side of the pillow! 8)

Btw, anyone know who could convert it to run on a digital signal (i.e. with a SIM card)? Any info greatly appreciated

Concerning the afore mentioned GTA on Howards Way after its brush with stardom found itself pressed into service as the daily driver for Martin Guard, this was ultimately replaced by his current daily drive and equally silver, Venturi Atlantique 300. See the below photo, it is a particular favourite of mine; it shows the GTA in company with Martin's two current cars, His A110 & the Venturi.

Didn't get a chance to have a look at the interior light problem but did get to have a drive and give it a clean so here are a couple of pics. As always, also found another problem, there's water on the carpet so a leak investigation will be required. Any common causes? New number plates have added a small facelift.
I need to address the headlamp glasses.

Trevor.
