Postby andy001 » Fri Oct 07, 2011 8:54 pm

right Mr Dell i've started the progress thread of your A610 respray so all we need to know is your final colour choice and a date when the work will start. personally i think white with metalic black roof and mirrors would look fantastic, the first ever gta i saw was white. so come on the next appointment at my transformation clinic is 1st week january 2012 shall i book you in.

White .....o dear sounds horriffic

O well at least itll show up the new sign writing well...it wont ever be painted white for motor sport purposes and decaled accordingly:roll:

Sign writing should read Dell hair stylist

   white ranks alongside yellow in my book; rather have red ....standard issue

Hope you got very deep pockets mr dell as you know I know u know what a kit will cost

Ps any thoughts to parking...youll have to give john some ping pong bats and pay him to guide you into bay better get somer bigger outer rims on those split rims too. 8)

What colour was the car originally..? Surely it'll be worth more in its original colour?

If this is not a contributory factor.. then blue or white, with the black roof would look good!. :)

How much € / £ 's are we talking for an Evo kit? I remember looking at the site but saw no mention of such grubby little details as the cost.

Le Mans Kit .
I bought some second hand dmaged panels which saved some money and I bought the balance new from Dieppe albight with a 30% discount to have the panles repaired and the kit fitted ....I paid approximately

Call me mad if you like ...Clee does

Respray ..........£3,000

Fitting of the kit and louvered rear panel now fitted to the Atmo £3,200

Plus the cost of the Kit .....it all came to around £8,000 so PaulC now you know that I am Mad as mad person thats madder than a hatter

so reading between the lines and depending on what the cost of the kit is you'll need to speak to Andy for the rest. I dont actually want to know because ....I thought I got what I got for a good price

Andy where were you when I needed you eh :?: I may still need you there are some little bits including some mirroes that I need sprayed too at some point

si21....and then there was the suspension clutch gearbox rebuild, brakes basically a complete mechanicla rebuild. Engine apart to check it all before being put back together with tender loving care I let you all wonder how mad I actually am and how much that little lot cost.

Thanks for that info. on the LeMans kit, si21, it was the A610 Evolution kit I was wondering about the cost of: just the kit alone from source, before any fitting.
