New A310

Postby stuarts » Thu Mar 30, 2023 5:50 pm

Hi all,

Having been looking for a while (mainly at A110's), I saw this and just had to have it :up
Does anyone know of the car?
It was restored (in France I believe) back in the early 2000's.
I have a few jobs to do:
Drivers door needs re-hanging (just adjustment).
Tacho & ammeter need fixing (power to them but not functioning).
And some remedial work on the paintwork in a few places.

An A310V6 of the same colour was on this forum quite often, perhaps 10-15 years ago. There can’t be many in that colour so it rang a bell with me.
I did a quick forum search on ‘green A310’ and this brought up some close references and a name Shaadi. Then the accurate username came up which is shadmonk. If you click on members at the bottom of one of the pages, ‘Club’, I think you’ll then find a list of all the usernames. Go to ‘S’ and you’ll find shadmonk, click on that and you can then look at posts by that person. I saw one photo with the car and the same registration as yours. Also a video at Croix.
If you do some searching you might find more and I’m sure there are others on the forum who’ll remember the car.

Well,
The A310 arrived today.
I can't believe how good it drives!
I've got the list of jobs as above:
* Drivers door drop
*change tyres (and look at new wheels)
* Tacho & ameter need refurbing
* Gear selection is a bit random (for 1st & 2nd mainly)
* Also, rear hatch keeps opening itself!

Who's the best guys to talk to about parts & work on A310's?

Cheers

There is John Law at JL Engineering, Paul Sage and also RATS at John Ashley Cars, depends also where you are in the country. There details can be found on here and also on Facebook.

Cheers, Barry.
