Blue A610 Found in Scotland?

Anybody know this car, looks like someone got a bargain. The only J reg Blue 610 in Scotland that I know of is the Eldorado car. Obviously if it's not that one there are others waiting to be found. Maybe one Steve has not got for his register?

Hope he's not that breaker in Fife who broke up a GTA turbo recently and put the shell on ebay....but at least he says he'll keep this one...

Yes he is the breaker from Fife.

There is only one blue J reg A610 in Scotland and that belongs to Peter Locke and although the engine is out / in bits he didn't indicate he wanted to sell it when I spoke to him in August and I can't imagine he would give it away. And yes it's Eldorado car and yes he's in Broxburn, 5 miles from Edinburgh.

I have sent him an email and pm in case it's been stolen.

There are simply no other blue J Reg A610s apart from Mike Vorndrans Singapore import and George Lackfords that he painted orange and exported.

Heard back from the owner and he has received a DVLA 'somone has tried to apply for a logbook' letter...

Oh dear, this has happened before to an old friend of ours on this here forum :wink:

This is also the reason I only buy cars with V5's. The old "I have lost it mate, you can just apply for it from the DVLA" does not cut the mustard...

The real owner has been in touch with the buyer who now claims he was never buying an A610 but a Gordini and he got mixed up.

Easy mistake A610... Renault 5 :roll:
