Postby mogster242 » Tue Dec 04, 2012 10:17 pm

i think there are a good number of us in the south, hampshire/dorset area, would anybody be interested in a southern meeting around the same time as the northern one??? i can look at a meeting place in the new forest (or somewhere else) if people are interested??? any suggestion welcome

Good on you Cedric for starting this.

It's hard work organising and getting people to come, not many appreciate what goes on behind the scenes.

I have found that the only way to get numbers up is to ring/email or PM people direct to tell them about it. Maybe Steve can supply you with Members names and contact details for your area so that you can get people to come?

Problem with the forum is that there is only a hard core of certain members that frequent it, other members tend to not be on here that often so won't even see your post

Upgraded your post to a sticky so it stays at the top

If I have the date free I'll certainly come out for a drive to meet.

Trevor.

well i always miss out on the meetings as i'm too far so thought i'd give it a go...

date is flexible we can do the sat 26th so Dave Miles and Mr Dell can join us? can also do another weekend, just need some feedback really...

Teglen? Paul Goldsmith? Jon K?

we could also do the meeting around winchester which will allow people around london to come more easily...

Count me in... just waiting for my car to be finished up with Andy.

Edit: Jan 26th no good though, will be flying back from Sweden. 27th is okay, as is 12-13, 19-20, or Feb.

Indeed. Shame it wasn't ready in time to join in your session the other day... talking of which, I presume you haven't had time to go up and sort the injector and the oil?

Andy is making great progress, fresh colour going on next week/week after :)

If Martin is not available, then I'd rather collect it myself and bring it back home, at least I can work on it over the holiday period and make progress on something, otherwise it'll be bloody Easter by the time it returns
