Sutton & Cheam Motor Club, in Association with the ACSMC and Farnborough DMC, are hosting a very special SPEED SPEAK EVENING on 23rd March 2010 at Puttenham Golf Club near Guildford at 8:30pm.
The evening will feature an informal forum with a Very Special Guest Panel including Cheryl Lynch (MSA Race & Speed Executive) Paul Parker (MSA Sprint Committee / MSA British Championship Co-ordinator), Steve Broughton (SBD Motorsport Preparations) Dave Whyman (ACSMC Championship) Steve Castle (MSA National A Speed Clerk of the Course) and Matt Carter (ACSMC Sprint Champion) as well as an MSA National A Scrutineer. The purpose of the evening is to explore and hopefully explain the new regulations regarding the 'Mandating of Categories', discussing those 'Demon Tweaks' and just what is or isn't allowed, as well as what the future holds for Sprinting and Hillclimbing in the South / South East.
Predominantly YOUR question and answer based, we hope to encourage newcomers to the sport whilst revitalising a few of the more experienced, battle-weary experts. Other promised attendees include various Regional Championship Secretaries as well as maybe the odd guest appearance.
The evening is totally free open invitation and whilst there is a licenced bar, unfortunately food will not be available (although there is a handy Harvester directly opposite the entrance to the Golf Club).
We look forward to welcoming you on 23rd March to Puttenham, which can be found approx 3 miles South of Guildford just off the A31 Hogs Back.
Barry Guess
Competition Secretary (S & C MC)
Chairman (ACSMC)
I'll be there, so if anyone has any questions, please let me know in advance.
