London Motorsport Show & Race Car Live 23rd Nov

Postby stephendell » Wed Nov 19, 2008 2:16 am

I have 5 spare free tickets for the London Motorsport Show (featuring Race Car Live) at Brands Hatch on 23rd November 2008

Anyone with a current MSA licence should have already received a free ticket.

If you would like one of the spare free tickets plesae let me know:

The following people have expressed an interest in attending on Sunday 23rd:

Stephen Dell (own ticket)
Simon Gamblen (own ticket)
Paul Sage (own ticket)
Mark Garner (own ticket)
Tony Law (spare ticket 1)
Mark Wick (spare ticket 2)

Anyone else?

Anyone have an idea of good place to meet up to hand out tickets?

My understanding is that if you have a current MSA licence you can possibly 'test drive' a vehicle according to the level of your licence. If you are interested in doing this I would suggest contacting the organisers Starting Grid Ltd. ee if you need to bring a helmet etc.

"Mate" if you wanna pay the fees too, that is fine.
This ticket is worth £15. It comes to me from the MSA who take £34 from me for my race licence. You know what it is like, every penny counts when you play with cars, 'so I just try to recoup a little here and there.

You racing next year, I have some GOOD NEWS for those who think they cant beat the scoobies and EVOs.

Jeez Simon have you dropped the "Mc" from your surname  Good news on the new regs guys, how about getting age included as well(the car I mean and not the driver   )?

I think you would enjoy the hillclimbing clee, and the car would be better suited to shorter blasts as well rather than 7-8 laps around a long racetrack..

I just need to sort a few oil leaks ,a seat  ( though I might just bin that side ) and JIL would do lap after lap now .All down to cooling and the right pads , discs and tyres .All std fare ....
Everyone has commented on just how good the brakes are so a BIG setup is not required I feel , just get the right combination .
Big rad means it never overheats even after 10/15 hot laps .Oil cooler matrix instead of the water jacket thing and as much throughflow as pos via the side ducts and the rear slated screen .
I understand the competition side of it would be a buzz but it would erk me to pay just as much for 10 mins track time as I do for about 4 hrs trackday .You can still be competitive on a trackday
