True, it begins 01/07/12 and Classic Le Mans is 6, 7 & 8/07/12, though enforcement will begin in earnest 01/11/12. Below is from the AA site.

Breathalysers
On 1 March 2012 the French government confirmed that from 1 July 2012 drivers of all motor vehicles and motorcycles (excluding mopeds) must carry a breathalyser.
The regulation will be enforced from 1 November 2012 and anyone stopped after that date who fails to produce a breathalyser when requested will receive an on the spot fine of €11.
The official announcement states that one unused, certified breathalyser must be produced showing the French certification mark NF. Carrying two single-use breathalysers will ensure that if one is used or damaged, you will still have a spare to produce.

Yes we convoyed last time, usually meet at the tunnel and the good President has access to discount codes.

Seriously though it is good to convoy it adds to the fun and provides company and back up if things go a bit wrong. In 2010 I think just about every vehicle except for the Support Van had a problem of some sort. Gear change linkage bushes were all the rage in 2010 followed by ECU wobbles due to the mega temperatures that weekend and vehicles being struck by flying objects.

Thats a good idea to meet at the Tunnel, judging by my last venture/sense of direction I'll land up in Switzerland or somewhere equally out of the way.
