Just a heads up for anyone planning on going who hasn't got a ticket. Pistonheads have an offer code which will save you £13 on each paddock enclosure ticket (and it is well worth getting the paddock enclosure entry as most of you know). I'm attending both days so bought the tickets in advance for the Sunday thus saving a decent amount on the gate price.

I'm a bit confused, do the tickets you've sent out to us Martin give us access to the paddock enclosure?

No the free tickets are park access only not paddock.

Martin, how many car passes have you got left?
And please can you give a final list of cars/people for each day.
If the turn out is still looking a bit sad the club might be able to stump up for a few extra tickets if you or Andrew can have a ring around.

Thanks Steve.

Im considering attending, would take advantage of the PH offer of a Saturday ticket... but are there any club car passes left please? Not sure the weather will be that great though... can anyone convince me thats it's worth it regardless of rain etc? :)

It's a good event with lot's to see and do. However it has not just rained but pi$$ed it down every year without fail  You have been warned!

I have a spare car pass for the stand, if you want it send me your address and I'll post it tomorrow for you?

Passes won't be a problem and we need more cars to make a decent display so please come along if you can. It's usually a great event. Martin has some club stand passes left and they aren't exactly hard to copy if we run out. Just make sure you have tickets sorted!!

I'll definately be there both days. Do you have any kind of map of where they have put us this year as they seem to change it every year. Is Gate 3 the same entrance as last year?

As for rain, well its summer, it's Chumley therefore it will rain. Bring an umbrella! Not ideal but we're Northerners and we're used to it. And we have a lovely RAOC Gazebo.

I think you can upgrade your tickets for paddock tickets on the day so that isn't a problem. I initially was just going Saturday but everyone I know is going on Sunday so I got a job lot of tickets on the PH offer which were much better value than on the gate prices. If you have any passengers then it would be worth buying their tickets online rather than on the day. £13 per ticket is a sizeable saving!

Thanks for the info guys, much appreciated... two final questions...

Loose plan to come up Friday noon-ish...
1. Wife is working on Sunday and wants to get back at a reasonable hour on Sat evening... is it impossible to leave the site at say 4pm?
2. Is camping the recommended accomodation option - is it on site, or even on the stand? I've found a hotel 1/2 hour away which Michelle (and myself if I'm honest) would prefer, especially if its pissing down

Get a hotel! It does give a bit of rain over the weekend so will probably be more fun in a hotel. Which hotel?

Never had a problem leaving early. Unless we are inside the track which I VERY much doubt as the car clubs aren't usually placed with that much importance.

My partner in crime (turbodog) will be visiting the venue sometime Friday afternoon to setup the Gazebo and do a reccy.

You can get in on Friday this year and it's free, I think it's a practice type of day and it's the first year they have done this so I can't really comment on what it's going to be like.

I would also stay in a hotel to be honest if I were you, unless you like doing midnight white water rapid impressions in your tent?

I have not got the Club stand plot map yet from the organisers. As soon as I have it I will post here for you all.

Very nice hotel. I live a couple of minutes from there. Definately book the hotel and enjoy a few days in the lovely City of Chester.

Let me know if you want to go in convoy on Saturday morning as its on my way to Chumley.
