Well, Croix shakedown was excellent.
The treasure hunt and meal was fantastic on the Saturday can't recommend that enough.
Had memories of Macon, don't go to low........ These events like to use old back roads.
My boys loved attempting to navigate plus the questions and scenes you had to identify all optional.
Many thanks to the Blue A110 who let us follow ,their navigation was remarkable. We arrived at the scheduled stops on time sweet.:)
And the track day was great too. Loved the straight haha.
Car was exceptionally quick so very happy with that :). And the new brakes stopped car very well luckily.
Just a few teething problems that need taking care of.
We arrived safely back post a detour to Jean Remi house for a social cuppa.
Thanks to all who helped keep us on the road especially the Renault dealer in ....... Please fill in the blanks.
And the blue le-mans driver who sacrificed a new reservoir to get us by. (John that needs to be sent back to him please he was one of the organisers.)
My only advice for anyone doing any trips like this in the future bring a blanket, sleeping in the car because you missed the hotel is not great haha. Thanks to Steve, for his AA advice at night, John for getting to work on the car straight away to enable us to hit the track and Mr Faulks for his advice too.

Many thanks to Simon who kept the round trip of pain down to 22 hours.

If I had waited for the official UK recovery service for the last I guess I would still be there now...

Always a good day and this one was no different. Project Daily Driver held up pretty well although was pretty loose at the back with the 15 year old tyres on the back! Just worked out the fuel consumption for the weekend though at that was very impressive. Total miles 385 - on 13 gallons which included about 15 laps of Croix circuit and some spirited road driving mixed with 70-80 mph cruising - and its still in one piece :0). Hope everyone got back ok.

I swear there was a second set of sleeved shafts with the car when I bought it but can I find them can I hell :x

TBH didn't think I would ever be driving it hard enough to break one...

ordered one of them over a year ago didn't I? shame I never got it as I could have made a killing on it.

Be interesting to see which part has broken as if its the tripod its not on the driveshaft itself (as pictured). Have replaced those as a precaution a couple of times as warned they can break and drop into the dear old Sadev.
never thought I would want a list but now find myself needing one just to remind me: Clio V6 230, 5 gt turbo, 5 Gordini turbo, Megane RS 300 Trophy.
