Which direction are you going round the M25?

I will be travelling in a clockwise direction! That is I will join either from the M1, (probably) or A1, (unlikely unless I hear the M1/M25 in that area is grid locked), and heading east towards the Dartford Crossing. South Mimms is the most logical place for me but, there is another service station at Thurrock if people wish to meet up there and of course we will all meet up at the Tunnel.

I live a few miles from Toddington services on the M1, it is literally just a few hundred yards after junction 12, and a few miles north of the Luton and Dunstable Junction 11 so I could up meet there if anybody fancies that? It could be a good comfort break stop for those travelling from oop north!!!

Im travelling from further noorth, comming off the boooot at holyhead at approx 12.30 am and heading to folkstone for the tunnel, will meet up with you guys there.

Yes Simon your right, don't think there will be much time for lots of stops. Maybe if everyone just posts their routes people might bump into each other en-route as we get closer. I'll be travelling clockwise round the M25, over Dartford.

I am now definatly taking van so if anyone needs anything carried then let me know, loads of room for tents etc. need to get them to me though before hand. I am now on a slightly earlier (9.06) eurotunnel though so get there early if you want to off load anything on the day.

current forecast is for poss showers but bloody hot. Bit too early for reliable outlook though.

edit: now showing wall to wall sun and heat! perfect weather to set of a few thunderstorms!

good job we have plastic cars then,
some old ferrous classics may dissappear into rust and the mud overnight. Thats why mud is brown, like rust !

great thing about Le mans is that is built on sand, IME very little mud even in real bad rain.
