Think he is from Midlands area but can't be sure. He has been at WSR for the past couple of years though. I did have a chat with him last year although I'm not sure whether he looks on this forum. Can't be more help than that I'm afraid.

I'll try n make it, depends if I can get time to pull the gearbox out to find second gear!

Not essential with all that torque!!

I drove mine all the way back from France with only 5th gear when the linkage fell apart!

Put it into 3rd when we arrived at eurotunnel and then the rest of the way home in 3rd...

Don't think it did the clutch much good though. But handy to know it can take it for emergencies

I will attend with my A610 to support the effort

Stephen you should organise a car transporter to pick up all the non runners including mine

Yours will be fine. You can proably get there with one gear change via the M25. I drove all the way back from Le Mans with one gear and from folkestone to home in central london. So no excuses!!
