How about we depart Folkstone at 09.20 on Thur July 8
probably arrive LeMans around 5-6pm after lunch stops etc
and return on Monday evening on the 20.20
allows for leisurely return and shopping if required for cheap wine etc.

I am ready to book NOW before it goes up again !

Been thinking I need to get my crossing booked very soon. I like the sound of this plan Simon. We could meet up and travel in convoy. Safety in numbers! Plus, a convoy of Alps always looks cool! Have you actually booked these days and times yet Simon? Anyone else done so?

Camping tickets arrived today.

Pleased we went for 10. They are in plastic wallets and have a security hologram this year. Obviously there were a few photocopies around last year.

OK as the Laws will be travelling in one car I have one complete spare package available for a display car and driver.

Comprises:

1 x Camping Ticket Bleu Nord
1 x Weekend Entry Pass
1 x Vehicle Pass for Camping (Green)
1 x Vehicle Pass for Club Display (Orange)

i.e. everything you need for you and a car for the weekend.

£130 TOTAL

All you need is a Eurotunnel or Ferry crossing, fuel and spending money. We can book Eurotunnel for you at - 20%

If you have a passenger you will need to buy a ticket for them.

depending on how much it costs to change my booking, I may take the van instead of the Clio. I will then take trolley jack, tools etc and can take others camping equipment to relieve your cars, stuff will have to obvioulsy be delivered to me before hand.

I think it will be a good idea to get a RV point and time organised. Who's travelling from where and when? I'll be departing from Runcorn, Cheshire probably about 3.00am and travelling down the M6. Perhaps we could arrange one or two RV points along the way and travel in convoy. Anyone travelling from further north than me?
