20 x A610s for 20 years of A610 x 20th August WSR

No problem for me if I don't work this week end !!!

According to the how many left website, there were only 56 A610 at the peak in the UK and now its 32 (today).
That means we need 62% of the population there to get to the 20- that's an A* these days isn't it.

Well maybe our friends at C.A.R. could join the event..... like to know how many they have on their club register.

Well said can't be doing with the them and us thing. You can't tar everyone with the same brush.

The CAR thing is silly really, I think most members of CAR are also in RAOC, one day we are proabably going to have to merge, there are so few cars that it silly to split the resources, but for now I think we have to accept things as they are...(I was trying to avoid hatchet burying as a term)

Time heals, hopefully- that and common membership.

Be great to see 20 of these cars in one place!! Any idea of time and place yet?

It's looking like WSR Silverstone is going to be the best place to attempt this.

This is what is proposed.

1. Attempt to have 20 x A610 together in one place on Saturday 20th August and/or Sunday 21st August.

2. Special reduced admission / gala price for participating A610 owners.

3. Renault Classic have provided a special A610 movie to play at the gala evening.

4. Free certificate of attendance.

5. Free professional commemorative photograph.

6. Renault A610 commemorative plaques and/or another gift to be presented at the gala evening. Plaques to be free (paid by club) if target of 20 is reached.

7. Special trophy for best A610. Best A610 to be displayed at NEC in November.

8. Possible parade for A610s. TBC

Any other thoughts / suggestions ?

it is my cousins wedding on the 20th so i can not make this either

If we do it at WSR we get proper Renault support, a nice evening do, professional photos, A610 movies, gifts and a possible parade

If we do it somewhere else we probably just get to park in a field or car park
