RAOC Tour of North Wales 15th/16th August

So who fancies a short Sunday tour to finish at lunch time at the Wingfield Arms pub like last time ?

Andrew, I certainly would . I think a night stop on the Saturday, with a few beers and a chat after the meal, a B & B, then a nice trip back to the Wingfield Pub ( wherever that is ) for lunch, would be a great way to finish off the Tour.

If the first day ends with dinner in Caenarfon, Travelodge Caenarfon has rooms available for £57. It's a nice new clean city centre hotel but the parking is a few yards away.

We could then have a short tour the next day. No need to end at Wingfield Arms as AFAIK no-one is camping at the moment and technically it's just outside the Welsh border!

Assuming we did this who would like/be prepared to stay in Caenarfon overnight other than me and John C ready for a short tour ending with Lunch somewhere on Sunday?

As a long term lurker on this forum and prospective (but not yet) GTA owner living in Ruthin, North Wales, I wonder if you'd all be ok with me popping over to say hi at the Plough on the Saturday morning? Best wishes, Tom

Still hoping to have the A610 ready for the weekend although I think the chances are pretty slim with the amount of work that still needs to be done. Whatever happens with the 610, I will be coming along for the trip although it will probably be in something a bit less exotic. Looking forward to meeting up with everyone again and will be especially good to see some newcomers.

Sorry chaps, I'm really not vary happy about it but I'll have to give this a miss. My car is still vibrating quite badly when I hit the middle pedal and I've not had time to investigate properly and fix it. It's ok to potter about locally in it but don't think it would be wise o go roaring around Wales with it behaving like that! Really guttted.
