"Drive to Adenau is 283 miles, about 5 hours"

Stephen, I am tempted, but not sure about your timings.
For my mind that is a 3 hour drive, not 5 and I'd arrive closer to 8 rather than 7.
So why not get half a nights sleep and leave 3 hours later?

I will be fitting trigger wheel for this next weekend, so not sure I can commit right now or not.
Might take a punt at the last minute.
As it will still be summer, is there camping at the RIng?

Simon, the roads are not so great and there is no motoway for the final 100K or so. Whatever way you go it takes 5 hours or so.

Nurburgring in three hours would be averaging 95mph with no breaks. That's very close to Stirling Moss' Mille Miglia near 98mph average. We know you're fast Simon, but are you that fast

Best just to leave home 10ish I think while still awake and have a few naps or at the very least coffee breaks on route.

Yes that's very cheap and well worth considering as an option.

A convoy would be good.

How much is your hotel by the way?

Yeah we all try to keep into a Convoy as much as possible in-case anyone has mechanical issues then hopefully we can all help out.

The Hotel Rieder was €80 per room per night but it's right next to the Ring so there's probably a bit of a premium for that? I think they've got a few rooms left still??

Hi Stephen,

I know you've got a LOAD on your plate at the moment with the WSR UK but i recieved the application form for WSR Nurburgring today & can see that the D'ARC only accept one payment per club.

Therefore to not mess you about with the rest of the RTOC lads i'll sort their payments out for exhibiting directly if you want me to or if you want to make one payment from the UK i'll just round all the money up from the RTOC & then pass it over to you??

Let me know what's best?
