Andy, you should see the list of Hill climb venues from the 50s n 60s.
About 2 thirds have been disbanded.

Ok, so Curbourgh is small, but at least it is a venue that can be used, and for less powerfull cars, like Austin 750cc etc.

Andy, you should try and enter the Scorpion sprint at Longcross, Chertsey.

This is a run from the Chieften sprint, similair but in different direction and slightly different route.

have a look at about 1.50 sec......and 4.40.... this part is on the Scorpion sprint course and if the car is not very light...... then it is airbourne.

Scorpion has been canceled due to lack of entries.......

and apparantly it is due to the credit crunch and price of fuel.
Only 43 entries and they needed 85 to make the event viable.
BIG Shame, because the course is AWESOME.

I have regs for a sprint at Hethel, this is the Lotus factory test track, 7 miles SW of Norwich.
Sunday 3rd August, £80. Enter quickley, because this event filled up very fast last year.

Torbay MC is running a hillclimb at what I beleive is a new venue, 10 miles south of Exceter at Mamhead on 2nd & 3rd August. see the regs etc on www.torbay-mc.co.uk (clashes with Hethel, so I cant do it)

I have regs for the Wiscombe Park "Five Clubs" events of 6th and 7th September. There is also a big BBQ event on the Saturday night, £5.

Stephen, is this the event you wanted to enter, unfortunately I will be at Brands on the 6th as part of the ACSMC Championship sprint challenge series

I have regs for a sprint at Debden (near Saffron Walden, Essex) on Sun 5th Oct, cost £70.

For me, this clashes with an event at Eelmoor (near Farnborough, Hants), similair cost and Retro cars mag have been invited to attend for a write up, and photo shoot too....

I have regs for the "Turner Thrphies Sprint" run by Harrow CC at N Weald on Sun 21st Sept, just £58. I beleive that this is the day after Croix.

I have no car that is Road Legal or capable at the moment ......the clutch appears to be on its way out of the door on the 21 slip sliding away after on 16,000 miles
