Very brave, I expect it will fall apart into a pile of rust

OK, so far we have six RAOC members/vehicles on this trip.

KENTISH, Steve - Alpine GTA - Registered via Jo
HEWITT, Roger - 21 Turbo - Registered via Jo
DELL, Stephen - Alpine A610
VENERIO, Filippo - Alpine GTA
FITZSIMONS, Pat - Alpine A610
SYMES, Julian - Alpine GTA

Surely we can give Robert a bit more support from the UK (& Ireland) and make it 10!!

The last four cars are all travelling together:

Sat 28th OUT: Check in closes 01:36 Depart 02:06 Arrive 03:41
Sun 29th RETURN: Check in closes 21:20 Depart 21:50 Arrive 21:25

Cost with RAOC discount £38 return.

This allows over 4 hours for the journey so we should arrive at Brustem in plenty of time for the start of events on Saturday, with a couple of breaks on route. Most will need to leave home around midnight on Friday.

The drive back is at more sensible hours!

Some are staying at Parkhotel NV Hasselt - From 59 euro
Some are staying at Holiday Inn Hasselt - From 88 euro

(NB - NOT the Holiday Inn Express which has less facilites and is more expensive for some reason).

Both are around 16km from the airbase.

Should be lots to see and do as anyone who went to Zolder last time will know!

Pat you are a nutter, you should have stayed for the evening as the weather improved 100%. Nice to have finally meet you ( Another Dini owner ) I am so so so pleased with my GTA, the poor thing stood for 1 1/2 year and drove me there and back without any problems and so smooth pleased to be back behind the wheel.

Thanks to the organisers and Stephen and Sarah for arranging my hotel and tunnel. Also Jules and Niky for another good laugh  Till next time.......

For those of you that weren't there, yes that's really how they took the 'aerial' photo
