However the car is now sold to a friend of mine and is going off for a refresh including a full repaint.

I’m sure it will look much better when it next resurfaces and another one will have been saved.

He’s obviously based that on “How Many Left” data which only lists cars that are currently taxed so any project cars or SORN cars will not be included.

For example the number of GTA Le Mans is listed as 3 but on paper at least all 26 still exist and we see regularly see several at meetings.

Look up “Alpine” and you’ll see just how unreliable this data is. There is no model info for the new car and apparently only 2 on the road. We had 3 at the last meeting!

Glad it's finally getting a new lease of life! There's a red turbo not far from me that the owner won't sell. Shame as its out in all weather and deteriorating year on year.
